Easy Italian books

I am a great fan of Montalbano but my Italian is not good enough to read the stories in Italian. I am at level 13. Any suggestions for suitable reading material in Italian please. Brian D

I've seen some nice Italian readers for beginners in Barnes and Nobles in bigger cities like Chicago, especially in university libraries

Yes I have thought of that but don't know where to buy such books. Can they be bought in ordinary bookshops? B

Probably not, unfortunately. I'd look online at amazon or the kindle store. You also have to look at how much you know and whatever your comfortable with. (your level of fluency) Good luck!
