Are there any planned improvements going to be made on the Irish course?

I am just wondering if anyone knows whether the Irish course on Duolingo will continue to be improved or if it will remain as is for the time being?

Is there anyone actively improving the course? Is there any way to help out?

See here for the latest status update on “Tree 2.0”, and here for a Trello board that lists its additional skills — at this writing (2017-05-01), the most recent status update is from ten months ago. If you’re interested in helping out, you could apply here.

This is awesome. Glad to see it's still a living project.

You’re more optimistic than I am; I can only conclude that it was a living project ten months ago. Since no status update has been provided since then, I can’t conclude that it’s still a living project.

I've been trying to keep up with the admins before they removed the "activity" functionality, and it seems to me there was a bit of burn-out* in the developer/admin team.

Which is annoying as I've applied, and contacted DL themselves, along with a native speaking friend of mine. We've both been told they're working on it still. I might make another go at it.

Please do. You've been giving loads of great help to people on the forums and your Irish seems to be up to it (from what I can tell).

Again, I don't know exactly what's going on in the Irish developers team, but it seems to me they could really use someone like you.

You've been helpful with questions. It would be very nice to see progress from Irish tree 2.0! I wish you and your native speaker friend luck!

Ok, so there's been an update recently. About a week ago they published a new update to the incubator page:
