All Netflix original content is available for all users in German, French, Italian, and Spanish....
In the past, I would use a VPN in order to trick Netflix into thinking I was in another country so that I could access the content available in that country as a way of studying different languages. Unfortunately, they can now detect this, and using a VPN is no longer allowed. Good news though! Now if you look at the audio and subtitle options on any Netflix original content ( aka the content they produce in house) then you can listen in many different languages! I've found it is a great way to sharpen your ear and improve your language skills while you're lounging!
ah yes, Netflix the moment that I discovered that I can learn German on it I was feeling formidable, definitely recommend it to all :D
Here's a catalogue of movies/series on Netflix with good subtitles, sorted by language: http://languagelearningwithnetflix.com/catalogue.html
Also, here's a free extension that adds bilingual subs, pop-up dictionary, and improved playback control: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/lln-language-learning-wit/hoombieeljmmljlkjmnheibnpciblicm
If you go to "Browse" => "Audio&Subtitles", you'll find that Polish is indeed an option :) I'm on the German Netflix and just checked as well. The list of content with Polish audio is pretty limited (much shorter than the French or Spanish ones, with which I'm more familiar), but the list of content with Polish subtitles is really long, so at least you've got something to read I suppose :)
Sounds good. I need movies or series in Polish language with German or English subtitles, movies or series in German, English or Japanese language with Polish subtitles and it would be great if there also are movies or series with Japanese subtitles as well. But I´ll definetly test netflix. I´ve heard, that there is also a Polish netflix available.
Great! But I wonder, if this will be the same in the German netflix? I´ll try to find out...
I live in Austria so the whole website is automatically in german and there is a lot of content in German, too happy learning :)
