https://www.duolingo.com/profile/DDDDDEEEEEDDDDEE

I took a little bit of Russian as well haha (: Privyet!

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/GhostRyderGaming

Russian is not one of the easiest courses to me lol

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/DDDDDEEEEEDDDDEE

I found it fairly easy but it was still pretty hard yeah (:

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Winnie842357

I think its pretty easy... lots of words sound the same as english.

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Winnie842357

are you enjoying swedish? :)

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/DDDDDEEEEEDDDDEE

Yes! I really like it so far haha (: Are you enjoying Russian?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/happycarebear

Is Swedish easy? My ancestors are from Sweden.

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/GoFigure151

Cool! Was it hard?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/GoFigure151

Lol. Would you say that it is your favorite language? I was actually considering taking the courses for it.

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Captain_Duo

Probably French, however I'm going to take German all 4 years of high school

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/NoSlowMoe

obviously not he is captain America. lol

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/happycarebear

What is Esperanto?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/DDDDDEEEEEDDDDEE

For me it was either German or Spanish, but I don't remember which I took first.

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/GoFigure151

Awesome!! Mine was Spanish, but now I take German courses proudly. :)

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/DDDDDEEEEEDDDDEE

OH haha thats awesome! I am hoping to learn German eventually. Of course after I finish Swedish and Danish (:

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/GoFigure151

Cool!! Wait, you are taking Swedish courses?? My best friend has a Swedish dad! Would you recommend taking the Swedish courses?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/DDDDDEEEEEDDDDEE

Yes I am (: I would definitly recommend taking a Swedish course! I know everyone has different opinions so it might be a different story for others but I find it quite easy and very fun to learn! I would also like to travel to Sweden one day so it will be useful. Plus another advantage is that Norwegian, Danish, and Swedish are quite similar so once you learn one it should be easier to learn the others (: By the way sorry for my bad English haha cx My keyboard seems to hate me right now and I don't know why

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/GoFigure151

LOL. I'll try the Swedish course after German. Thanks for the recommendation!

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/DDDDDEEEEEDDDDEE

Cool haha (: I hope you enjoy it and are already enjoying German!

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/happycarebear

Is it easy though?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Winnie842357

why did you chose german?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/GoFigure151

My mom and dad both have German blood in them, and my dad grew up in Germany. When I was little, we both would speak German to each other and freak my mom out! But now that i'm older, he works more. I just take German on here.

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/GoFigure151

Wow! That's actually really cool! Would you recommend it?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/WulfgarGoodread

I would. Portuguese is a charming language. There is a Portuguese language poem by a Brazilian poet named Olavo Bilac which describes the Portuguese language as a series of contradictory comparisons, at the same time beauty and vulgarity, splendor and death, and other such comparisons.

Portuguese and Welsh are the two languages I have discovered through Duo that I have enjoyed the most, and I am surprised by both.

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/GoFigure151

Wow. That's amazing! Why did you pick Portuguese and Welsh?

( Sorry if I'm asking to many questions... I'm just considering taking another language course after German and I don't know what to do! )

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/WulfgarGoodread

I picked Portuguese because when I started 990 days ago, Duo only had 5 courses available for English speakers and I had already studied three. So my choice was between Portuguese and Italian and I went with Portuguese first.

After a while, I felt an urge to study Welsh. I don't know why, I just did. I started the tree and almost quit but somewhere around level 7, I really started enjoying it. Welsh is very straightforward and simple in both grammar and spelling but still very foreign to the English speaker.

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/GoFigure151

Do you like German??

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/NoSlowMoe

I like it, it is not that hard, and it is fun. -__-

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/GoFigure151

Yep. German is my favorite language!!

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/IsakNygren1

Spanish because the Hebrew course wasn't out yet.

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/GoFigure151

That is really cool!

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/GoFigure151

Wow! I always wanted to learn French. Would you say it's easy or hard?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Dan_1738

I'd say between

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/J1ng3rT41ls

it is easier after you learn spanish!

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/KristenDQ

Spanish as well.

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/GoFigure151

Ooohh!! I luv the Spanish language!! It's a lot of fun! How long have you been taken Spanish courses for now?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/KristenDQ

I haven't taken any outside Duolingo. The Duolingo course took me 3 months, as did the Italian, Esperanto, and Greek courses. The German and French courses took me a little longer as the tree was updated for each of these courses when I reached the halfway point in each course. Hungarian has taken me almost a year as the other courses have needed to take precedence, due to my job. Now I am back to Hungarian and am almost finished the tree! When I finish the Hungarian tree, it will be my 12th tree (I've also done the Spanish, French, Italian, German, Esperanto, Greek, and Portuguese trees as well as the reverse trees for Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese.)

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/GoFigure151

Woooff! You whizz through the course! :)

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Mohammed_trans

It was English , but I stopped it because I already know it . I began to learn German from English , also I learn Spanish ^^

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Mohammed_trans

I learned English from Arabic ^^ I was improving it .

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/DirtyDu3c3

I'm still learning French. It's not too hard a little hard to pronounce somethings but still pretty easy!

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/GoFigure151

I want to take a French course. Would you recommend it?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Captain_Duo

yeah, French is a lot of fun.

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/GhostRyderGaming

German,Hebrew and Spanish.

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/GhostRyderGaming

But german was my first.

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/GoFigure151

Cool! I started out with German and Spanish, too. I want to take a Hebrew class though. Would you recommend it?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/GhostRyderGaming

Ehhh Its really hard I haven't gotten past the first level plus it also makes you type in hebrew which is even harder lol. So I would recommend if you have the time to do it and the brains LOL

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/GhostRyderGaming

Not that you don't have brains its just hard.

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/GoFigure151

Lol! I know what you mean.

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/GoFigure151

Spanish was my first language on here too! I love it still!

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/GhostRyderGaming

yeah, it really is! i loved making my own skating out fits!! they are so fun and pretty!! you?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/GoFigure151

Woah, you MADE your own skating outfits? That is so cool!!! I wish I could make mine, but my fingers aren't working the way I want them to whenever I have a sewing needle. But yeah, I love the way how the sequins designs seem to flow along with your program. It's SO much fun!!

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/J1ng3rT41ls

well, i did use a sewing machine. i know, I LOVE how the glitter sparkles when you move!! it is so much fun!!!

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/GoFigure151

IKR?!?! I have to say though, my favorite part of skating is the feeling whenever you land a jump PERFECTLY. It's like SCORE!! The bad thing is that I have to share a rink with the HOCKY PLAYERS. Luckily, they have a smaller space than us so we get to practice more!!

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Damara.Sobie

Mine is Russian!

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/GoFigure151

That is really cool!

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/J1ng3rT41ls

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Evelyn739933

It's a lot like Spanish and quite easy if you already know Spanish.

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Espiraden

I Believe that i came to Duolingo firstly, for Russian? or Spanish?, Not sure. I created my account on December 15th, 2015.

I ended up doing the Spanish tree 217 days ago, quit it and did the Esperanto tree, getting all the way past the last checkpoint (i had maybe 10 skills left?) and Quitting in favor of Spanish again, Which i once again quit, and re-did Esperanto, quit, started Russian, German & Danish, Quit, Started Vietnamese, i reset the tree once but I've stuck with it for awhile and i picked up Spanish again. Korean snuck it's way into the mix recently also.

I've realized that i seem to remember words and grammar easier when i have more than one language. Of course, i don't do them all at the same time. :)

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/GoFigure151

That's really awesome!

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/happycarebear

Spanish! I still do it, but now I do Italian too!
