What to say when you visit louvre

Monet’s Les Nymphéas

What to say when you visit to see it in the Louvre

Je trouve que c’est important de voir les Nymphéas comme un ensemble au lieu d’étudier chaque tableau individuellement. — I think it’s important to regard Water Lilies as an ensemble instead of studying each painting individually.

Il faut regarder chaque tableau et de loin et de près pour découvrir l’ensemble. — You have to look at each painting from afar and close up to discover it completely.

What would you say would be there instead of me.....

As someone who used to work in a museum I can inform you that the most frequently asked question is "Où sont les toilettes?" ;) The world is disappointing.

but then again, there is this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fountain_(Duchamp)

It would be better to say "Il est important de voir" - impersonal construct.

That's not to say the French don't use "C'est" like that but it sounds like you want to write quite formally.
