we can sharing our experience
hello friend, i hope you wanna join this discussion to improve our langguage, plase be kind and this discussion is not to tell about ras
I'll start this. I lived in Indonesia for a few years, one thing I did was help teach weekly free english classes. Since returning to the United States, I have really missed that, then I found this and realized I could continue to help people work on their English.
great experience jacob, im very interest about that. so you can speak indonesian or javanese? haha.
I can speak Indonesian and can sort of understand Javanese, but I cannot reply well in it (kalo boso ngoko, aku iso)
its good enough, most people use boso ngoko or informal speech for daily usage (well, maybe royal family in keraton use kromo inggil)
you are more know about javanese than me, although im from indonesian i speak with kutainese, absolutly you know indonesian have many cultural and langguage ;)
Oh you're from Kalimantan? That's cool. When I was in Indonesia, I knew lots of people from NTT and Maluku, but not many from Kalimantan.
if you have time for holiday you must go to kalimantan, many beutiful place in there. i think many tourism just know beutiful place in indonesia just bali. actually that is not true because every place in indonesia have each exclusive and beutiful nature who you will't meet in other place. i guarantee ;)
Yeah, I would like to go there sometime. Banjarmasin and its floating markets look very cool. And also Kutai with its old history. Plus I'd definitely want to go into the jungle and visit some Dayak things. I really like the traditional clothing and patterns of some of the dayak tribes
some correction (CMIIW) : - many (beautiful) places - many (tourist) only know Bali as beautiful place in Indonesia - every place in Indonesia (has) ...
I don't think Kalimantan airport provide direct flight for international route (only for malaysia, UEA and maybe singapore). Bali is tourist-friendly since almost all people there can speak English (not fluently, but enough for basic conversation and show direction), they also have tons of tourist-friendly food.
Java also a popular tourist destination (Jakarta, Surabaya, and especially Jogja)
