Help!

I went to do my daily duolingo and it asked me to re sign in. When I signed back in, it didn't have any of the correct courses complete etc. I lost everything that I had already completed and I don't know how to fix it. Does anyone know what do do???

Do you mean that some lessons that had been gold were no longer gold? That is supposed to happen over time; just as we forget things we have learned, Duolingo recommends reviewing. This skill strength decay rate will slow down for individual lessons the sooner you make them gold again after they lost that status.

If you don't mean that, it is possible that your device did not have enough time after you had completed the lessons to sync with Duolingo's servers and save the data. To prevent this happening again, you simply need to keep the Duolingo website/app open longer and maybe load something like the lingot shop to force a connection.

There are other possibilities too, but I don't know much about them, sorry.

No. It says that lessons I've completed haven't been completed. I'm still getting emails from duolingo saying that I have a 6 day streak and such but that's not what I see when I log into my account

You mean those lessons are grey, like you had never started them?

Correct. I do not have my lingots anymore and I am not on the same level either

That is very unusual. Maybe the Duolingo servers were having some kind of problem and the data had to be rolled back? I don't know.

You have created a new account by mistake. Log out of your new account, and log back into your old one.
