mchuzi is actually more of a stew then sauce so why can't I say stew
I've visited a Kenyans house they spoke english very well. They had some kind of beef stew and they called it sauce. I think its a cultural thing.
I've also seen mchuzi used to describe juice (as in juice from a meet/ or roast)
As in gravy? Mchuzi as gravy makes more sense to me. Its called "mhluzi" in my language
What I'm getting from these comments is that mchuzi refers to a liquid food item
'I like soup' should be accepted
Ninapenda kuchuzi. Is that a word? To sauce
Is that a word in English? And aside from borrowed words, Swahili verbs end in -a.
where have you seen the word kuchezi?
Could sauce also be a way euphemism for alcohol in swahili?
