What does "Чиє ж то..." mean in these songs?

Всім привіт!

I just enjoyed listening to two fine Ukrainian folk songs with similar titles and I'm hoping that someone with more knowledge than I about the language can tell me what the titles mean. Google translate doesn't do well with this. The songs are Чиє ж то полечко не оране and Ой чиє ж то сіно. Дякую!

Чиє ж то полечко не оране? - Whose is that not plowed field?.

полечко - is a Diminishing(? dont know how one call that in english) form of the word поле - field;

не оране from орати - to plow (to make ground loose).

Ой чиє ж то сіно? - Oh, whose is that hay?

сіно - hay (dry grass or dry wheat stalks, etc);

ж - is used here for ephasis of the Чиє word, i believe (and/or for euphony).

You know the difference in the use of the "ж":

Чиє ж то полечко (сіно)? - Whose field (hay) is this?

Чиє то полечко (сіно)? - Whose is the field (hay)?
