Where are the instructions?

Is there a page I can go to to learn how to use this site? I have just been using guesswork up to now. I lost my streak, I am guessing because I did not reach 20, where would that rule be posted? Very good site but tell me how to use it please

The Duolingo Wiki is good for this sort of situation: http://duolingo.wikia.com/wiki/Getting started

You must do minimum number of lessons a day. Sounds like goal is two. They can be New or Old (Review) If you don't do two you loose your streak

Just found "Settings" where you can change your xp from the setting you chose when you created when you signed up. Range is from 1 to 50. 50 is called 'Crazy'. 20xp is basic. What Duolingo is trying to do is get you to practice every day even if it is not a new lesson. Once you make it to 40-50 you are driven :)
