Multiple choices can be sometimes solved trivially.

Mark all correct translations

He sleeps while I cook.

1 Yo cocino una cebolla. 2 Yo cocino y tú comes. 3 Él duerme mientras yo cocino.

The third one is the obvious choice even if one doesn't know the Spanish word for "while".

A good many of multiple choices questions I have seen are of this nature.

I would like to see more challenging multiple choice questions.

Yes, it is the same for German. All options of a multiple choice tests should use the same words with different conjugation and stuff, so one has to made an effort to pick the right one. Currently, one word usually gives the right asnwer away, because the other choices do not have that word at all.

I agree - too many of the multiple choice options are obviously wrong, meaning picking the right answer requires no thought at all.

The multiple choice do seem to be significantly easier than the other exercises in a given level. What is the thinking behind this?
