A2 Exam - what is absolutely essential?

Hi there,

in a week I am taking a A2 exam in Catalan, and I was wondering what one should know for sure, just because it would be embarrassing not to know. This should apply to all languages, not only Catalan. Here are some topics I tend to forget although I should know them:

  • Greetings for oral and written communication

  • Numbers (up to 100 at least)

  • Days of the week, months of the year

  • If the exam contains a face-to-face oral part, some information concerning oneself in case the examiner likes smalltalk (e.g. profession, hobbies)

What do you have to add?

You'll find an example test here.

I hope it's useful.

If you Google the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference) you should be able to see the full syllabus for each of the six levels.
