Shouldn't "We wash dishes with water" also be ok? Or does duolingo demand the more precise "Twaosha vyombo na maji" for that translation?

It should accept it. Not all correct translations are up. If at any point you think one of your translations should be accepted but isn't, hit the report button (likewise for missing hover hints or anything that is obviously incorrect, etc).

Yes, i reported, this time, but I don't want to spam the developers. I'm not a proper mswahili. I only learned conversational swahili through friends, and it's mixed with a bit of sheng and colloquialisms. I'm not always sure that what I'm used to is proper or not.
