in a previous exercise wieterbildung was defined as "training". here it is defined as "advanced training". IMHO, these are two different meanings - one being general, the other being specific. Can anyone clarify?

I love how German makes all of these concepts into words, it makes a grammar drill so much easier.

I feel that 'further training' is a better translation.

what about "fortgeschrittene ausbildung"? Is it not acceptable?

It should be accepted, but isn't. This is a badly worded question.

Weiterbildung = further training; advance = für Fortgeschrittene -these two concepts are not quite the same!

I agree, I think the preferred answer should be: "Die Ausbildung für Fortgeschrittene ist morgen". There is no ambiguity there.

While "Weiterbildung" can be translated to "advanced training", It also translates to "further training" or "continuing education", and as someone who has taken several continuing education courses, I would cringe at anyone calling that "advanced training"!

I guess that "Die Weiterbildung fängt Morgen an" is also correct. Right?

That's more a way to say it begins tomorrow.
