Are you only using the app? On the website, you can find notes before each set of lessons. Also, you can aim at new words (in bold) to see possible translations.

I agree with MarcD50. I've found the tips & notes on the website version of Turkish to be extremely thorough and useful compared to the other Duolingo courses I've looked at.

Also, if there's a particular question you're getting stuck on (And I myself have had plenty! Turkish is very different from English and the other languages I've studied!), I've found the team to be very responsive and helpful when I've asked a question in the sentence discussions.
