My streaks keep ending because I do a lesson on a morning one day, then in the afternoon the next day. Is there a way around this?
The day changes (and streaks end) at midnight in the time zone where you created your account. For example, I made my account in UTC+09:00, so a new day starts according to the time in that zone. If I travel abroad, I have to be careful to keep that in mind, because the time of that 'midnight' won't change even if my location has.
If you don't know when your 'midnight' is, try to remember where you were when you made your account. If you're still not sure, practice a bit today, and check back regularly to see when your streak disappears.
Other than that, try to get into the habit of practicing every day at the same time. It makes it harder to forget when it's built into your schedule!
Set up a notification for 12 noon. This will tell you your account's time zone.
My account's TZ changed recently to my new local time. I didn't request this, but it shows that it can be changed. So send DL a message as they can presumably change yours.
Are you sure or hear this from DL?
I was always under the impression the time zone couldn't be changed. Some features of DL are based off of local time though.
Can you right-click on the web page and click view source, ctrl F, and search for timezone. See if this matches your current timezone (or previous, or something completely different)
(I'm trying to figure out if this is a reliable way to figure out current timezone in DL)
I registered whilst in South America. When I came to Europe, and I took a lesson after midnight, the lesson's score would add to the previous day's total. Now it will start the next day's. Also my notifications arrive shortly after European due time and no longer the South American time.
The Timezone in the page source is my European zone.
