Exploring African Languages (Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Bete, Bassa, etc...)

I would like to see additional languages added for West African countries in the future. My fianceƩ is from Nigeria and her relatives are always joking about when I'm going to learn Igbo. It'd be nice to see that and other languages added in the future that aren't rooted in Latin, Germanic or Sanskrit,

In order for the courses to be added Duolingo needs volunteers who can speak the language and are able to create the course. Since you know people who can speak Igbo, perhaps you can ask them if they're interested in contributing, or if they know any other speakers who would be interested?

We just recently got Swahili added as a course, so the ball has already begun rolling in regards to African languages. Hopefully in a year or two there'll be a second, or even a third language from the continent on here. ^_^
