French won't let me advance

Having tried to take the initial test it then disregarded it & put me into the beginners group. I completed the first of the 1st 4 modules in the beginners section but while it says on the home page that I have completed 1 of 4, when I go back to complete the next one it changes to say I have not completed any. I have now completed the 1st page 3 times but still having the same issue. I have refreshed several times but it doesn't make any difference.

I am having a similar problem with my Spanish course. I have completed a few levels but now when I complete any section it does not record it as complete or if I take the Strengthen section it does not record that as completed either. I have tried a few times with the same result please advise how to fix this as I can't advance.

Today it let me do Lesson 2, which in the home page shows as complete, but again, when I try to go in to do lesson 3 it initially shows as 'Start' but then as the page fully opens, it goes back to start on lesson 2. Are you only allowed to do 1 lesson a day? As this only takes me 2 minutes or less to complete, I don't understand why I can't continue?

I have no issues when using Firefox but I have this same issue using Internet Explorer. We've found that logging out, deleting browsing history, closing out of Internet Explorer entirely and logging back in allows us to go to the next course in Internet Explorer.

I have moved to Google Chrome for Duolingo and it is letting me progress. A pain as I generally don't use it, but at least I have found a way around the issue!
