Er ist der Mann, der den Traum vom passenden Heim wahr werden lässt.

einen Traum wahr werden lassen = (lit. to let a dream become true) to make a dream come true

can we say that the original sentence is "Der Mann lässt wahr einen Traum"?

Nope. You need the werden in there. Otherwise you have "the man lets a dream true" (werden = become)

werden means to become, to turn (into)

Er wird rot = he turns red

Die Träume werden wahr = The dreams becomes true

Sie werden Ärzte = they become doctors

Du wirst verlegen = You become embarrassed

Be careful for the word order: "Der Mann lässt einen Traum wahr werden."

but why "werden" is in infinitive? shouldn't it be hier declined according to the Nominative "der Mann"?

You've already conjugated "lassen" into lässt

He lets it swim NOT He lets it swims

yes I got it finally that the verb to be conjugated is "lassen" not "werden" ..... thanks Simone :-)
