What's the difference between "peke" and "pekee"?

I'm not entirely sure, so take this with a grain of salt, but I think peke is the base word and pekee is kind of a short version of peke yake in the same way that baada(y)e is a short form of baada yake.

peke yangu = on my own
pekee = alone (on his/her/its own)
