Help! ¡Ayuda! Aide! Hilfe!

Duolingo is a fun site for learning languages, don't get me wrong, but lately I've been finding myself buying the streak freeze more than ever. If there a way to motivate myself to keep accomplishing my daily goals? Thank you, in advance.

There are other ways to keep yourself motivated. You could, for example, completely ignore the streak and if you need a sign that you're still learning you could focus on trying to keep the skills "gold" (or "strong" if you have the "Skill Strength" userscript), and use that as an indicator that you need to practice. That should at least keep you focused on learning while also, just as the streak, guided to come as often as possible for you to continue your journey.

If I'm super busy, I don't stress about the streak. But I actually will strengthen, even if it's completely gold, an easy skill (like Basics). It takes less than a minute! Make sure your daily goal is changed or set to 10XP if you want to try that. :DD

Yeah dial it down to one and strengthen basics. It's easy to find the time to do that. Just seeing the number get higher will motivate you to catch up later.

Daily practice is important, but stop worrying about keeping a big streak.
