My advice: think of all languages you're considering and use this website to help you decide. https://www.random.org/lists/

Awesome, just beware the grammatical aspects can be really hard to grasp.

Im not sure considering I don't learn German, but I think so from what I'm learning because I used to learn German before.

I would recommend finishing german first. Then afterwards, you should try dutch, Norwegian, or Swedish. Welsh sounds really cool to me too. (although there aren't many words that sould like English)

Hey, cal341498! Personally, I am learning French and I think it is so much fun! But I can't wait for Duolingo to release Japanese because I am learning that at school this term and have an exam coming up very soon. Although I have learnt Japanese and French via other language learning sites I think Duolingo make it the most enjoyable experience yet!

Finish German and Spanish, then we'll decide. Do you want another European or Asian language?

Tajik. You'll be understood by 110 million people, as it's mutually comprehensible with Persian and Dari!

Swahili is so fun and unique! It is a choice often looked over and ignored by people looking for a language to learn, but it is truly amazing!
