Can you switch between languages you're learning but still maintain the level you're at?
What I mean is, is that I'm using French a lot and it's starting to see repetitive, what if I did German for right now or say I did German every odd day of the week while I do French every even day of the week, would I still maintain how good I'm at in my French level without it dropping?
yes you should keep your progress. I tried doing italian and spanish at the same time but did not lose level in either.
Try it. Find out.
I am currently alternating 2 languages on a weekly basis. Sometimes I need a day or two to adjust myself back to the language I have just switched to, but overall I am progressing and improving in both.
I tried alternating 3 languages over a 3 day period, but found it worked best (for me) if I made sure to do a single maintenance lesson of the two which weren't on an on day, as well as doing quite a few (5+) lessons of the one I was working on, on that day. How it goes for you may differ.
You will keep your Level/XP, but the skills will weaken (and Fluency will drop - but just ignore Fluency). The skills weakening just reflects how memory works - you need to jump back on and strengthen again occasionally.
Thank you, however, I didn't mean the XP/Level I mean my real life ability of it, while I forget things if I just switch to another course for a while but come back later?
