"Mis hijos querían ir a hacer snowboard."
Traducción:My children wanted to go snowboarding.
In English, "wanted to go snowboarding" is correct. "Hacer snowboard" = "snowboarding", apparently.
However, as a skier and snowboarder myself, usually we would say "my children wanted to snowboard." "To go snowboarding" is wordy-- the extra words are unnecessary.
Unfortunately, DL did not accept "to snowboard" for "hacer snowboard." It should.
