Where does 'dar' fit in here or compare to 'ci' ?

I can't see a difference (yet). But Wiktionary.org helps me to get a better grasp on words:
https://en.m.wiktionary.org/wiki/ci#Romanian
https://en.m.wiktionary.org/wiki/dar#Romanian

And linguee.com helps me to find examples (and see if some combinations make sense)

Ana sounds like Ană.

The word "numai" is very similar its Catalan equivalent "només". They're both literally formed by "no"+"more", to mean "only".

And American Spanish "nomás".

Why not: not only Ana but Mihai as well?
