"This book is an easy reading."
Translation:Această carte este o lectură ușoară.
It does! We don't use it with the English sense, but we have the university rank of lector (from lecturer).
Except that, in this case, it should either be 'This book is an easy read', 'This book is easy to read' or 'This book is easy reading'. 'An easy reading' doesn't exist in English - or not in this context, anyway. A 'reading' is when something written (usually a piece of literature) is spoken to an audience.
