"I do not have grey pants I have black pants" is wrong?
Seems like it would be the translation of Romanian "pantaloni negri", though I understand what you mean )
DL also accepted: I do not have grey pants, I have black ones".
well that is ok..but Dl should be using ( and teaching us) correct common english: i have black ONES !!
If you want to use correct common English: it is "I" (capital) instead of "i" ... ;-p
the sound is not quite correct ...
i meant to hear " nu am pantalonii ..." instead of " nu am pantaloni ..."
the English is not correct!!!
The audio is clearly sounding like "nu am pantalonii gri am negri"
That is -- the -ii ending makes an audible /i/ phoneme on the end of words, whereas the -i ending Duolingo wants us to use is supposed to be a swallowed barely audible /i/ sound.
unfortunately , i experience many many times that the audio (or better the pronounciation) is unaudible or unclear...especially when words which have not been used before , are used. most frustrating!
