Japanese Skill Degradation

I am having some difficulty with my skill degradation in the new Japanese course. I'm not sure if it is intended or not but my skills degrade super quickly. I know I had just completed a skill, did a lesson in a new skill, and the first skill I had completed already degraded by a bar. I did not have this problem with the Spanish course, does anyone know what is going on?

Yeah, I have had this trouble with Japanese too. I can regild the entire tree that I've done so far and it will have all faded by a bar per lesson by the next day even though I got them all right and didn't use a single hover. I have not had that problem with any other language.

I have the same problem with my Swedish tree for the last couple of weeks. I'm already 3/4 done with it and everything up to a point degrades by a normal rate (one or two skills I have to practice a day) but all the lessons I started after the website update decay by one bar every day even though I practice them daily for weeks and know them.
