Is duolingo falling apart or is there a problem on my side (I use Safari on a Macbook)?? When strengthening modules, they don't update (go gold) no matter how many points you re-do. Also, after answering a question one cannot access 'discussion', and 'report a problem' has no option for comments anymore - all very frustrating. All this, plus other minor niggles, started yesterday when the popup adverts appeared.
Unfortunately your account is transferred to the new web version.
> after answering a question one cannot access 'discussion',
In Duolingo's new web version, the sentence discussion opens in a new window. So you have to disable the pop-up blocker of your browser.
This is the link to what I see in my browser, Firefox for Linux
My ad-blockers don't cause any trouble (AdBlock plus and Ghostery)
Please, have also a look at the comments in this discussion of three weeks ago
""Discuss sentence" no longer working on Safari / OSX"
Your other issues are also caused by Duolingo.
Here is a discussion with some more information:
Especially the first comment of NoNoEsImposible about .....
- Here are the things in the old website that are not in the new website ....

I had to abandon the struggle today because each time a new sentence was given in either the source or the target language it immediately switched to the other language - and sometimes the question was written in one language and spoken in the other. Quite impossible to guess what the "correct" answer might be! The programme was also throwing random, unrelated words into the test sentences, including the word "diarrhoea" in an exercise on conjunctions. My computer seems to be working perfectly normally in other programmes. Anybody else have this problem?

This can happen when Duolingo starts synchronizing your courses with her servers, if ......
- you are logged in two different devices in different courses
- you're logged in with two different tabs in different courses
- you are logged in on your phone both in the App and in the web version of Duolingo in different courses.
I don't have Duolingo on my cell phone. I just use it on my laptop. Sometimes it stops working and I have to start over again too.
My iPad screen goes black and cuts back to logo when I'm halfway through a lesson. Why?
