What languages can you speak?

Hi! I just wanted to know which languages can you speak. I can speak English and Italian really well but I'm still learning Spanish and French. It's not much but it's quite enough for me...

Although you're probably going to speak way more than me. Please can you comment below and tell me all the languages. (: (: (:

English is my native language. My second language is French, but I'm definitely not fluent in it. I'm okay at Latin, as well - but I still have to check the declensions ... Norwegian, Italian and Swahili are all languages I'm also learning on duolingo ; )

English, as of now, wanting to learn (oral only) Mandarin and Cantonese.

Languages I had studied for a year or more but abandoned due to loss of interest or usefulness: Spanish, Hindi, Japanese

Languages I studied for months but abandoned due to loss of interest or usefulness: French, German, Portuguese, Korean.

My career goals have changed a lot since I was a teenager so, my language goes change with it. I learn out of best option for careers for better chances of getting paid more rather than interest in the culture.

Hungarian(native) and English. I wish I could speak Romanian as English, but I can't... I think if I couldn't speak any other language, only in Romanian just for one, two weeks, that would get the outcome. The truth is, that I'm afraid of speaking Romanian, when I could speak it...:(

Besides this I want to become fluent in German, Spanish, Greek, Hebrew, Japanese and Danish.

Why are you afraid to speak Romanian?????

I don't really know why. I don't feel confident. I feel anxious, stressed when I have to speak in Romanian. I'm afraid that I'll forget words.

I don't think that it's harder, than any other language to speak, but I have neglected it a little, especially the speaking and the writing parts. As its grammar, that's definitely harder than the English grammar. I've heard saying native Romanians that the English grammar is more easier than the Romanian. But Romanian is a beautiful language, it's worth of learning it. In the summer I want to write and speak more Romanian. And when I'll go to university, I'll have a lots of possibilities to practice it.

Uh, well, English is my first language, pero hablo español a un buen nivel, och jag inlärning svenska....

I can also read Italian and Portuguese to a degree because I started to learn Spanish early enough to be comfortable in the basics by now. Other than Swedish, from which I'm actually able to guess Norwegian and Danish words, I'm also taking some time to learn Welsh, Swahili, Turkish and Japanese. Greek and Catalan are languages I've been learning bits of very slowly, and I know enough to say "hi" and a few other words in both. Everything else I know enough to at least construct simple sentences.

I'd say I'm only fluent in English as of now but if I had to travel to a Spanish-speaking country I'm sure I can get by using only the native language of the area.

I can also read several systems of writing to a degree but I can't speak all of the languages they are used in (although I really would like to!)

I speak Spanish (My native language).

I speak English fluently, I have studied it my whole life and I am here on Duolingo to improve it.

I am studying to become fluent in Esperanto, although I have nobody to speak with.

I am studying these languages to improve my English more: Italian, Russian, French, Portuguese and German. So to be fluent in those, it has to pass years before it happens.

Hi Hxvan! If you don't mind, I've got a few minor corrections -
'I am here on duolingo to improve it',
'to be fluent in those, I will have to study for many years'.
Your English is very good, though : )

English (mother tongue) and German at an intermediate level. I also know some basic French & Urdu but I'd probably just say 2 languages, German and English since those are the language I can have a conversation comfortably in!

I am a native English speaker I can carry out conversations in Spanish, but have a long way to go to become fluent. I can form extremely basic sentence structure in German, French, and Italian. I know a few words in Irish, Portuguese, Swedish, and Japanese.

Teochew consider is my mother tongue dialect, teochew & hokkien have similar pronunciation, and because their similarity sometimes I also confuse with their pronunciation. lol
