:( 140 day streak just disappeared

Okay, well I was greeted yesterday with an e-mail from one of my followers saying 'hey, did you lose your streak?' and I was confused for two reasons:

  • I had a streak freeze activated

  • The day before I had gained a point from immersion to keep my streak going.

Now my 140 day streak is gone! D: Is there anything that can be done to get it back? I even have messages from a few days ago saying 'nice streak!' and 'how do you keep up such a long streak?' etc.

EDIT: a very kind person has fixed the problem and it was actually my fault for not knowing the rules of immersion points! Thank you for the help :)

You are rank 1 in immersion in French (which is the rating that you did on the 19th), which means you don't earn any points from rating a sentence. Although you are rank 2 in Spanish and can earn points from rating in that direction, these ratings are language dependent.

The last streak freeze you purchased was on 3/16, and it was absorbed on the 16th because you didn't practice that day. Thus you didn't actually have a freeze in place.

Okay, well I vividly remember going to immersion and rating a sentence yesterday. Unless my mind is playing tricks on me. It's really upsetting because I was aiming for a 365 day streak and now I have to start over again. :(

You did rank a sentence in immersion, but it was in French. Your French immersion rank is 1, and at rank 1 you don't earn points for rating translations. Your streak is extended by earning points.

I've bumped your streak back up to 142 this time. Try to take note of what language direction you're in before rating in immersion to make sure you're going to earn points, or double check the flame in the topbar for the green checkmark.

If you can fix streaks, can you adjust mine, as well, please?
When I was new, I didn't know we had to finish a lesson before midnight, so I lost my streak, even though I was learning a new lesson for 30 minutes before midnight.
I should have 21 additional days on my streak (that I've been adding mentally to the streak that displays).
I sent two support tickets to the staff, but have not heard back yet... :-(

Hi, I have similar problem - yesterday I wasn't able to play with duo, but I was pretty sure i was eqipped with streak freeze. But today it's zero and no freeze. I was so proud of my 70-day's streak! Could you check if it's me that made the mistake or the system?
