Please add "Tips and Notes" to the app, or restore it to the mobile website.
I understand that tips and notes are not included in the app due to wanting to minimize data usage, but I would prefer having it readily available on the app. An important example is German adjectives. Since there are so many different forms, I cannot learn just by taking the lesson.
In the past, I was able to view the tips and notes on the mobile website, but now it appears to have been updated to reflect the app, with no way to see the full website.
Please add one of these functions, as it would make the learning process so much easier. Thanks!
I am running the mobile Chrome app on my Android phone. In the past, Duolingo had a simplified mobile version compared to the desktop one, but you could still read tips and notes. Not so now
I am running the Firefox browser App on my Android phone. I can still see the tips and notes, when I set Firefox in desktop mode.
I agree, allowing users to view "Tips and Notes" within apps would be very desirable. However, I don't have a problem displaying the web versions using the Mobile Safari browser on my iPad or iPhone (I just tested it). Erik3481, are you using another browser or running on Android? What am I missing? Does Duolingo feed the "full" website to iOS devices, but a mobile version to other types?
