Wanted to tell you a little about my progress :)

Well, my year-goal was to learn (or at least, start learning) Norwegian, and I'm working on it. I think I started using duolingo at the end of January, and I've made a lot of progress. I just finished the 'Dates' module from the tree, I just try scoring 50 daily points and I'm not rushing towards the end of the tree, just training what I know until is really learned by hearth. A month ago I realized that only with duolingo I won't be able to learn an entire language (though is a really good tool to learn and practice) so I printed a whole Norwegian grammar book to start learning and this had a huge boost on my learning, I even chatted with a Norwegian guy about geography of Norway!

I'm really happy with my progress, I just wanted to say thank you to the community and Duolingo, which really helped me a lot.

Ha en hyggelig dag og mange takk alle!

By the sound of it you are doing really well. I think your goal of fifty points a day is about right. I would aim at keeping the tree gold, so rather than rushing ahead you are constantly repeating old lessons. As the tree gets closer to completion you might need to exceed the fifty per day a bit as topics revert to coloured at a frustratingly high rate. It's a great feeling though when you complete the last lesson to leave yourself with a complelely gold tree.

Fortsett!

Gratulerer så mye!

By the way, "mange takk alle sammen" would be better than "mange takk alle". When adressing "everyone", you say "alle sammen", as in "everyone together".

Lykke til videre!

You are completely right! That was my mistake: I was rushing towards the end of the tree. Another very serious error was trying to study swedish at once but my brain doesn't support this feature. Now, I restarted all my progress and focused only in norwegian (while I'm improving my english also). Well, the rush was good to me because now I have an overview about this beautiful language.
