So I've been wondering about the lingots feature. I'm able to unlock 2 skills Idioms & Flirting. Yet I have 3 slots available... will there be more skills coming out that will at least fill the third slot? Also, what about new clothing for the owl?

One thing I'd like to see, is an optional quiz or test at the end of every tier of skills. Instead of seeing "Checkpoint Passed", I'd like to see "Take Quiz?" Maybe the quiz could be mandatory? A requirement before moving on to the next tier? A reward of 5 lingots for passing? An option to take it again even after passing? Just some ideas.

I haven't been with Duolingo long enough to remember it first hand, but I think the older versions made your progress toward the next level visible from the mobile app. I haven't been able to view a progress bar on my app. Does it not exist any more?

Anyways, I'm new to the community. My name is Micah Doulos. I've got an interest in: French because I live in Canada, Spanish because I have lived in a very Mexican cultured area of the United States, and German because my family has ties to the country. I'm also very interested in Russian and have been trying to drive support to the incubator to speed up the Russian for English speakers program. I even went so far as to send a group message to 32 Russian Americans who are my friends on facebook, pleading with them to check out Duolingo and potentially contribute in the incubator. I've also invited around 400 facebook friends to join Duolingo. I look forward to being a part of this community. Hi everyone!

You forgot the Christmas skill ;). As for your quiz idea, I like that. As for the progress bar, https://www.duolingo.com/comment/1682701

Edit: Sorry, you didn't forget the christmas skill. I wasn't aware that they took it out of the shop after christmas. Anyways, since you're new, you wouldn't have seen it. Have a great time on Duolingo!

It doesn't seem like the feature you linked to is for a mobile app.

Get the Java Script blocker. It should work for safari.

I use the Duolingo app. Not really interested in using a browser. Thanks for your help though!

No problem, but now I have a question for you. Are you replying to me through the app?
