Duolingos deeper meaning?

I was sitting around in Google Translate learning some new words, when I got the idea to see if Duolingo means something in another language.

It took me a while, but I found out that Doulingo means "Couple languages" or "duo linguis" in latin. I do not know if I am the first person to discover this. But I feel like it was worth to share.

It basically means Bi-lingual. You're definitely not the first to catch on. ;) I noticed right away.

Except they're pronounced differently, dwoh vs. dew-o. ^_^

Maybe Duolingo is becoming 多-lingo with all the new languages...
