English grammar walks into a bar...

If only English classes had taken a humorous approach when I was growing up...

Anyone have funny things like this to help teach grammar for other languages?

This is the link to the best formulated grammar question I have seen in Duolingo until now
"How do you tell if a sandwich is a boy or girl?"

That was fun to read! Much more informative at teaching grammar than, say, diagramming sentences. So boring.

Yes, I enjoyed it as well. Personally, I never thought diagramming sentences was boring. It came in handy when I was learning latin, it still comes in handy 50 years later now that I'm learning French.

If you don't know the parts of a sentence in your native language, you are going to have a lot of trouble formulating grammatically correct sentences in the language you're trying to learn.
