New Language to Duolingo!

Dear Duolingo Team

Hi, i'm born from a Croatian family and my Mum/Mom and dad keep on telling me that i need to learn Croatian, and yet, i go to a Croatian learning school, but i never learn anything!

So here comes my question; Do you think that we would be able to get Croatian on duolingo? I really hope we can do this

Kind Regards, TadeKT

Hi Tade, and welcome to Duolingo! There is a handy discussion here about what to do if you want a new language course to be added: https://www.duolingo.com/comment/15014194. The instructions basically say to search the appropriate forum for the language name, and if there is already a discussion for it, upvote that and add your thoughts there instead of creating a new one. I did some searching for you and found this one, so maybe you can contribute to the discussion there: https://www.duolingo.com/comment/3447199

Hi TadeKT,

Could you relocate this discussion in the “Troubleshooting" forum? Which is the place meant for such discussion. Thx!

To relocate it (*), edit your original post then select said forum in the drop-down menu on top-left of the edition area (see here for details).

(*) \/!\ please, don’t create a new one \/!\

Have a look to this short guide to help you knowing where to post your (future) discussions on Duolingo’s forums.

Maybe try other apps or sites in the meantime. :)

Memrise is a good choice, look there if they have croatian!

I would expect English for Croatian speakers first to be worked on first (if ever).

Anyway, as others have said follow the guide on the subject....

Good luck with that. You're better off buying Teach Yourself and/or Colloquial Croatian.

Learn a language in just 5 minutes a day. For free.
