Changing the time zone

This is more of a curiosity.

I am spending 15 days in Singapore and I got here and changed the timezone on my computer. Duoling still thinks I am in the UK, so it is 7:44am and Duo thinks I am still yesterday (11:44pm in the UK).

Is there a way to change the timezone to which I am assigned in Duo?

Thanks!

I moved from Croatia to Brazil and after some time it just got adjusted somehow. So in midnight, by Brazilian time, starts new day in Duolingo for me (how its supposed to be).

Hi chicoscience,

At this time, Duolingo will always keep time using the time zone you originally used to create your account. There is not a way to change this. It is probably a good idea to buy a Streak Freeze in the lingot store if you are worried that you might forget and miss getting in a lesson by the time it is due. But, remember that the Streak Freeze only works for the streak on the website, not for the app. So, don't be alarmed if after you use the Streak Freeze your app says 0 days. (If you use the SF and if you use the App).

I hope you have a wonderful trip to Singapore! :)

Thanks for the reply! My mobile is a Windows phone so I only use Duolingo on my laptop, and my SF is safe. I'll adapt for the time zone change :-).
