Creating a successful CLUB
1- ask for what you want in your (well set up) description
2-make the title in the language that you are learning (not necessary)
3- have active members that like to practice and learn
4- encourage your members and they will encourage each other too
5- have everybody participate in compititions for points
6- dismiss members that have not been active for more than 2 weeks to sustain the full 15 club members as active learners
7: Make some points in the language you're learning so that it already shows that you did something/are active in the club. Important: don't make too few/too many points, you want to motivate the others to start learning by showing them that you learn too and that they can still overtake you. Depending on what kind of a club you want, you might want to adapt the number of XP a little bit, for my own (friendly-competitive) clubs I usually do about 100 XP.
8: If you want to remove people from your club because they have not been active you should make sure to only remove one person (max. 2 people) at a time: clubs with many members have a tendency to fill up sooner. If you want to remove several people you should wait until the club has filled up to 15 members again before you remove the next person.Otherwise people who look for a club might interpret the number of members as being a sign of that your club is not very popular/active and you might have trouble getting new club members. The best moment to remove someone is, in my experience, the end of the week when anyone who enters the club can still see the number of XP people in the club made.

I like this! But 2 weeks is long, a week is enough to replace someone who doesn't want to participate and makes room for serious learners. :)
I would love to be in a club...perhaps even off Duolingo because What's the purpose of learning a language you dont get to use

oh mine is spanish but you can creat your own (using these tips if you want) or if you want or join someone elses
As far as I know, you have to be learning the particular language of the club, and it is only on mobile (Android?) devices.
(For now, that is. Duolingo may yet bring clubs to the web and make it so that the codes can be part of a link which you click to join the club. We must wait and wait and see.)

The reason why I posted it was that I thought it would be good for people to know, I was not looking for credit actually...XD (Though you're free to give me credit of you want to;) )
