Completed French Tree!
French tree completed with everything current. Took 39 days, level 17, 10543 XPs, and French fluency at 56%.
I pushed through somewhat quickly but spent a lot of time every day going back and reviewing previously covered material. And I've tried to do much of each section on both the computer and on the phone app to see the material in different ways. I've been using other learning resources, too. (Michel Thomas, Paul Noble, etc.)
The goal is semi-fluency in one year. We will see if I can do it.
I'm going to spend the next week reviewing everything by retaking a lot of the sections and also doing the Duolingo French cards on Tinycards. And I'm going to spend the next couple of weeks finishing the pbs television series French in Action. That resource has really helped.
And I've already got the Radio France app on my phone with downloads of the latest news & etc.
Then I think I'm going to do Babbel, and maybe Kwiziq after that.
Thanks to Duolingo for putting this service out there. I really do appreciate the opportunity to use this resource to learn French. I also appreciate the hard work of all of the people who contributed to making it happen.
Congratulations ! But,I have a question please : is it not wise after your hard tasks to apply in a french language center to gain an international french language qualification ( like DALF or expertrating certificate ).That turns your efforts into a potential money !
