Russian Learning Resources

Vitas is a Russian singer who's songs you can check out. His first song I heard was Здравствуй, родина любимая моя

The funnier one is 7th Element which is more famous than the earlier one.

You can also listen to some different radio channels in Russian and pick a favourite on TuneIn

You can go to's YouTube channel to pick up some words and phrases, and here is my personal favourite Трое из Простоквашино

Memrise is a flashcard app that you can download or visit the website. You can create a course or join the readymade ones by the Memrise Community and other users. Also, you can download Anki with which you can add your own flashcards or visit the website to get some readymade ones made by users. There is a web version too.

And, of course, use Duolingo every day!

thank you! Having more resources for learning Russian is great, because I think learning it through Duolingo alone is very hard!

Duolingo is practically my only resource. Otherwise, I have Memrise and my dictionary which I rarely read. Duolingo has helped me in learning Russian which no other source can.

For Duolingo, you can keep a 30-XP or 20-XP goal. I use 10-XP, so if there is a problem with the device, I will still keep the streak.
