You can learn the words 'jolster' (a common bush, bay willow) and 'ulster' (ett "en"-ord) (a sort of coat) at the same time.

alster - jolster - ulster

They're not related in the least except having the same (rather uncommon?) ending.

Interestingly, while they share endings, they don't function as the same suffix. :)

ulster is actually a direct loan from the English "Ulster coat", after the Irish province of Ulster. So that's -tir meaning "land". jolster comes from an old Germanic root, and alstra from ala ("give birth to"; archaic) + the objectifying -ster.
