Trying to Level Up Is Getting Harder!!

Before going further with Verbs(2), I have been doing more review and practice because of spelling errors, along with careless mistakes with feminine & masculine endings. It is no fun to see my 3 hearts go down the tubes because of inattention to word endings. Also, Duolingo takes away hearts when the article "a" is omitted from the Spanish sentence, but apparently must be implied when doing the English translation.

It gets harder from the lessons, but once you start doing immersion your levels shoot up so fast. I had to STOP doing immersion for a little while because I leveled up twice in two days from immersion and I'm only half way done with the tree. I didn't want to give myself a false sense of proficiency based solely on immersion and not practice exercises.

I am same as you, I have seen hundreds of broken hearts when I do some lessons really difficult (for me) like 'Pronouns' and 'Verb Infinitive 1'. Don't give up, just do the previous lessons for few more times and try to remember the grammer concepts that you think you can't comprehend very well (you can also try to look Discussion when you find some pharses you can't get the meaning!), you can finally pass those lessons. Buena suerte!

Absolutely. I have been 'revising' for a while now. I will not try any new lessons until I am absolutely certain of what I have already learned. It gets tedious but I keep reminding myself that it doesn't matter how many times I redo a lesson, it is for my benefit.
