As a native English users, "scissors" work as well as "pair of scissors." It is the same idea as eyeglasses even though we know of one as a pair of eyeglasses.

I expected Mkasi to mean scissor (singular) and Mikasi scissors (plurar). Could anyone enlighten this for me?
