I'm getting really frustrated with the French. I'm just playing the French for fun. I'm already finishing up a French major (this semester, actually) and just wanted to do Duolingo for fun and practice. This program keeps marking me off for things I KNOW I'm getting correct. I don't think this is a program with the other languages on Duolingo. And whenever we report a problem, they never fix it.
I love this website. But I don't think I should have bothered with the French. I feel like I'm arguing with a computer!
I have a question! Why is google translate open? Speaking of which, can I have some lingots? Jks :-P
Well, sometimes when i am really confused with a translate i rely on google translate to assist me, but that was 8 months ago...
hah, fair enough, me too, but mainly when I have no hearts an it is the last question ;)
I thought cat was just chat, not chatte. But I am only at basics 2, so I'm not sure.
chat is masculine, so it means a male cat. chatte, on the other hand, is feminine, so it means a female cat! :D
Chat is just cat in general. Chatte specifically means female cat. But if you put chat in the same sentence as chatte, it will mean male cat. Just wanted to clear that up.
Lol. And the word is really rude, I won't explain more. So, really, lol!
hahahahah, lol, i heard about that ;) saying j'aime votre chatte noire might be a bad idea...... XD
