Hi, yesterday I spoke about music, today I wanna try something different: to speak about religion, sometimes it can be hard to speak about this topic, I hope you enjoy this post.

First of all I don't know (or not sure) that God exists, but it is not the scope in this conversation.

I think religion is very different than spirituality, because religion has rules, beliefs, people who follows some guide and I think spirituality is a way to live, a way to be.

There are many religions and of course most of them have their own holy books, coran, bible, baghavad gita, popol vuh, etc. I have read one or two of them they are pretty similar: the human as the centre of the Universe, the creation, but maybe it is not properly correct, human being just share this reality with all the rest of species, this Universe maybe is not just for us even when we act like that.

Well. What do you think?

Hello again...I hope you don't mind I point out the one detail you should review...For me it's important to make mistakes and acknowledge them as we go, that way our english gets better and better. I hope you agree...Well, the detail....

First of all (2nd paragraph)...

Now your juicy topic....another lingot right off the bat...and now, my comment...

I don't practice any religion. My parents believe they are catholics (I don't think so). I was baptized as catholic, but I don't practice that religion. As a child I used to feel fear of punishment, as a teenager I felt angry and devastated when "religion" couldn't help me pass through some issues. As a grown man, I try to avoid the madness of thinking about death and if I am mistaking my way.
Now, one point scratching my brain is, What about me making my life religion instead of a settled religion driving my life?. It's sounds poetic and easy, but it's kind of delusional. Don't really know. I wonder these big questions sometimes, that shake my ground, but then stop, because I know what state they're heading at. I concluded, I'm not good enough to go through it....
Wow, that was kind of dense to write...I'll deviate the air sharing this video that came to my mind...it's in portuguese, but it has pretty accurate english subtitles, I hope you enjoy it as I did...

Please, be my guest! That's why I write because I can learn about my mistakes.

I understand your point, I practiced catholism but in a part of my life it did not give the answers, then I left it. Now I understand nobody can give you "The Answers", everyone, religion or other people can give your Their answers, their way to understand life or spirituality, and that's not bad I understood that. It simply show us that people sometimes prefer a way to live a proven way to live: "I am the Truth and the Path" but nobody asks... Path... to where? Truth... for what question?

I think similar as Budism does or Taoism, you make your own concepts, your own experiences and most of the time they are personal, you walk alone and maybe you never walked. That's why I started with I do not know if some kind of God exists, because simply in my experience I do not have that certainty. Nowadays I prefer meditation and I like budism as a way of spirituality not a way to find "The Truth".
