several languages do not give access to the learned words tab and it's unclear why since the learned words list appeared to be implemented for all languages. there used to be a bug by which you could access the tab by opening a language that has it in one window, switching to a language that didn't in a different window, and then opening the words tab in the first window. it was a useful but roundabout way for me to track and review progress for languages like Irish and Hebrew that didn't give access to the list directly. it now seems that that bug has been fixed, though, so i can no longer get that list of words. why doesn't duolingo just make these lists available for all languages instead?

Not quite sure what sort of work around you used, I just checked my work around and was successful.
Here are the steps to get the word list:

  1. Change your language to German or any language that has a word list

  2. Open a new tab

  3. On the second tab, change your language to Danish (I wanted a Danish word list)

4, Go back to the first tab, and click "words" at the top

I just checked it out, using German and it worked. Hopefully, it'll work for you.

I think their work around stopped working on the new site. Does yours?

On Tuesday, I received the new site. Yesterday, after seeing the post, I checked the work-around and it worked for me for Danish. Not sure about any other languages.

Thanks for the response. It's good to know some things still work on the new site! :-/

The one thing I found, was I had to do everything in the order I wrote. I ended up having to open many tabs to get it to work. :)

I think the complication now is that you can't be on the Home tab of the language with the Words tab, because Home is on the new website, so clicking over to Words reloads everything. If you're on Discussion, then it'll work.

Features have to meet a high threshold of usefulness and usage to "earn their keep" and stick around. Many things much more useful than the Words tab have been axed of late. Can't help thinking the notoriously buggy Words tab will soon join them.

I really thought it had stopped working. But doing the trick from discussion instead of home worked! Thanks!
