一人 pronounced "Kazuto"?
Isn't it hitori? I know it can be Kazuto as in a name but... in the duolingo concept, shouldn't it be pronounced "Hitori"?
Hitori was definitely the way I learned it when I was taking classes from a native speaker. Maybe there's a nuance that we didn't get to, but maybe it's a glitch/error while Japanese is in Beta.
I agree 100% and this is what makes it really difficult to learn Japanese for me that the same thing can have multiple different readings and you can never be sure that you know enough because new readings keep coming up. For example, I have been learning Japanese for only 3 months but for 一人 I already learnt 2 different readings: ひとり and いちにん and now Duolingo says it is かずと? o.O
