Comédie Française

Salut!

Merci beaucoup !

2) Matériaux in this sentence isnt natural, however you can use ressources, trucs, choses (trucs et choses if you are not sure what you are looking for)

Merci.

Is there not such a thing as "learning material" in French?

The way you say it is acceptable, but it is an anglicism. You could try something like "Je recherche des ressources pour pratiquer la compréhension auditive/orale.".

Profitez bien!

Congratulations and welcome to the French language -- we're all mad here :B

I would translate "learning materials" to "des ressources d'apprentissage", "des ressources pédagogiques" or "des ressources éducatives"... I guess the latter sounds more natural.

"Matériaux" is what you use to build stuff (e.g. houses) :)

Des ressources ou des supports d'apprentissage.

As for stand up I'm not sure what to recommend but I know that Eddie Izzard speaks a very good french and performed some of his shows across the pond and I find it generally pretty good and might be more easily relatable for foreigners:

He obviously has an accent and he sometimes makes mistakes (and he generally feels less comfortable than in english) but it's still pretty good.
