Can anybody give me an honest FluentU Reivew
I love FluentU. Years ago when I studied French, I wanted listening practice where I could listen to something several times, then listen again with French subtitles, and then listen again with English. This is exactly what FluentU allows you to do. I feel that it is an immense help for listening comprehension. Because examples are always in a sentence, I also think it helps with fluency. The only thing I don't like about it is that it takes a long time to review everything. That is, in the amount of time it takes you to review ten words on FluentU, you could have reviewed 50 words with paper flashcards. But since the words are presented in sentences, and you can hear them, I think it is worth the time.
